AP Computer Science A

AP CSA

Every day in this course is built to give you a real shot at passing the AP Computer Science A exam. You read code, trace it, predict it and write it, the same way the exam asks. If you work hard in class, the work fits in class.

How a day works

0–10 min

Do Now

A warm-up the moment you sit down: one item from an earlier day, one exam-style question, one quick trace.

10–35 min

Demonstration

Chromebooks open. Mr. Muggivan works the examples, and you follow along on the same problems.

35–75 min

We Do / You Do

Part A with help, then Part B on your own, built like exam items. Stretch jobs if you finish early.

75–90 min

Exit Ticket

A few exam-style items that show what you learned today. Open only in the last 15 minutes of class.

Your codes

Each block ends in a code, like DN-1.2-K4Q-X7M: Do Now, Week 1, Tuesday.

Click Copy & Submit Code. The course form opens with your code filled in. Submit it, and Google emails you a copy. That email is your record.

Never share a code. Three codes a day: Do Now, We Do / You Do, Exit Ticket.

Missed class?

The Do Now and We Do / You Do for every day stay open. Open the day below and do them, any time, from any device. Late codes still count.

Exit tickets only open in class. They show what you can do on the day.
