CATCH UP ON ALL MISSING WORK

The midterm is behind you. Today is a catch-up day. The next two slides have every classwork form and every exit ticket from the year so far — audit yourself against PowerSchool and work through anything you still owe.

  • Slide 2 — Classwork. Every classwork form so far, grouped by week. Each one lets you edit your response, so if you already turned something in short, open it and add to it.
  • Slide 3 — Exit tickets. Every exit ticket so far, grouped by week. If one was never submitted, open the link and fill it in now.
  • Click a link, fill the form, submit, come back here. Links open in a new tab. Close the tab when you’re done.
You have the whole period. Start with the week you know you fell behind in. Then look at the others.
CLASSWORK — all year

Every classwork day of the year so far. Click a row to open the LESSON PAGE for that day in a new tab — the material is on top, the form is on the same page. Fill the form, submit, come back. Every classwork form allows editing.

Sep 21-25 · Proto-Spec Week (one form, whole week)

Not graded yet — not on your checklist. Many of you submitted this; the issue is format. The spec required four folders (1·Overview+Logic, 2·Playing Canvas, 3·NPCs, 4·Scripts). If your proto-spec is one blob or skipped folders, open it today and restructure. Grading runs after fall break.

If a row reads "form not published," that form was never pushed to a live URL — tell Mr. Muggivan if you need to make it up.

EXIT TICKETS — all year

Every exit ticket day of the year so far. Click a row to open the LESSON PAGE for that day in a new tab — review the material, then fill the ticket on the same page. Some tickets were set to one-shot — if a submission doesn't go through, tell Mr. Muggivan so he can reopen it.

Late-work penalty — exit tickets only

Exit tickets are the only activity in this class that gets a late penalty. That is school policy, not mine. A late exit ticket caps at 80%.

Do the math before deciding to skip. 80% is still an 80. A zero is a zero. Even a “bad” late exit ticket pulls your average up compared to a 0, a 40, or a 59.

A missing exit ticket counts as a zero in the gradebook until a submission lands. 80% today beats 0% forever.

Before the bell

Two things to close out today.

  1. Click Submit on every form.

Submit is the only way I see your work. A form open in a tab with text typed in it does not reach me. Neither does “Edit your response” if you don’t Submit again after editing — your changes stay on your screen until the next Submit lands. This applies to brand-new submissions and to edits of work you turned in before: no Submit, no update on my side.

  2. Look at your grade portal once, right now. If a classwork item or exit ticket still reads missing, tell Mr. Muggivan by the end of the day — some may have been submitted but not synced.

Short week ahead. Monday is paper-only, no Chromebooks. Coming in with last week’s work committed makes it an easier day.
